Entering Update Mode

  1. Connect the programming cable to the radio and to the computer.
  2. Open the radio programming utility and choose the cable. A radio that already runs RadioFoundry is detected without holding keys or turning it off.
  3. Otherwise, turn the radio off and on again when prompted. Do not hold any keys. The screen stays dark and the LED on top blinks orange while the radio is in update mode.
